The Bear Game is really a series of small entrapment-style games for two players. Commonly referred to as being Roman, similar games are found elsewhere in the world. The goal of the three gladiators (often called hunters) is to trap the bear, and the bear's objective is to keep from being trapped for a certain number of turns.
