After spending a few days in Lucania, we heard about a village perched high above the Sinni Valley that "shouldn't be named" for fear of bringing bad luck. The local culture has adopted the generic term "that village" to refer to it. This village is Colobraro, a town of about 1,000 inhabitants that conceals a long series of stories linked to its rural tradition. We visited it, trying to gather some testimonies from its inhabitants, ancient traditions related to herbs and healing rituals.
