Drink Mixer for Tiki Cocktails - WORTH IT???

Is a Drink Mixer for Tiki Cocktails Worth it??? My wife bought me a Hamilton Beach Drink Mixer for Christmas this year. This kitchen gadget is awesome for making milkshakes! (the Kids LOVE it for Milkshakes!) but I really wanted to try making some cocktails with it. The Tiki Book Smuggler's Cove highly recommends using a Drink Mixer for tiki cocktails (specifically ones using crushed ice). The idea being that it aerates the cocktails very quickly and efficiently resulting a smoother mouth feel and properly blended drink. I wasn't convinced so I decided to put it to the test! NOTE: A Drink Mixer is NOT a blender! It mixes and aerates the contents at high speeds but it does not have sharpened blades and therefore will not crush ice.
