In the meantime, let me THANK each and every one of you for following us in this very special 2023, marked by pauses and restarts. But amidst this variability, one thing has remained constant: you, who have continued to follow us with even more affection than before. I can only say THANK YOU, truly. Let's leave the sappy tone aside and get serious (more or less, come on). Since many have difficulty accepting rankings based on personal tastes, below I'll list the criteria we used to select the games: 1. The choice is based on subjective TASTES and not objective parameters, also because we believe that in board games, the latter are not sufficient to evaluate the quality of a game. 2. The ranking (as we also say on the video) was created by COMBINING the tastes of all active Al4oPiù members (I know, Tino is missing, but you get the idea). In simple terms, everyone chose the 10 games and we assigned a score to each position. By combining the various personal rankings, with a common score, we obtained this ranking. 3. The games chosen were NOT necessarily released this year; the ranking is based on those we TRIED for the first time this year, even if they were released years ago. 4. We did NOT include games we ONLY PREVIEWED (such as the latest Nemesis, to name just one). This is because we can't know if the final version will be exactly the same as the prototype we played (better or worse). 5. If a game isn't in the top 10, it could be for a variety of reasons (including a simple mistake: we might have forgotten we tried it this year!), but that doesn't mean we DIDN'T like it!
