How to Check Oil Level in a Mercedes W211 E320 E350 E500 E55 With No Dipstick

These cars do not have a physical dipstick to check the oil level, but they do use an electronic level sensor in a hidden menu to check the level. Step 1: Turn ignition key to position 1 Step 2: Press left cluster button 3 times until you hear a beep Step 3: Turn key to position 2 until oil level displays Thats it! Be sure to check oil level when the engine is warm and oil is hot at the normal operating temperature. It is not advised to check oil level when cold as the reading will be lower. Oil expands when warm so you will not get an accurate reading and you might overfill the crankcase if checking when cold. #e320 #w211
