Working indoors with tools that produce a lot of dust is becoming increasingly common. In such situations, a vacuum cleaner is essential. Unfortunately, these particles cause the vacuum cleaner filter to clog very quickly, causing it to stop working properly. There are many ready-made solutions available, but I decided to try my hand at making my own using readily available materials. For this project, I used: 2 large 20-liter buckets, 2 smaller 5-liter buckets, 2 Ø50 90-degree elbows, 1 Ø50 67-degree elbow, 1 piece of Ø50 sewer pipe, approximately 15 cm long, 2 50/32 rubber reducers, 4 casters with a diameter of 4 cm, 1 piece of old shelf as a base Chapters: 0:00 Introduction 0:15 Cutting the separator body components from buckets and sewer fittings 1:45 Joining the components using hot glue 2:05 Preparing the base on wheels for the separator 2:47 Assembling the separator and checking for leaks 3:03 Testing and modifying the separator while vacuuming sawdust from the floor. 4:10 Testing the cyclone separator while vacuuming ash from the fireplace.
