Homenaje a Borges de María Kodama en Los 7 locos (1 de 2)

María Kodama has just published "Homage to Borges," her first book. It's a compilation of twenty of her lectures, given at various institutions around the world, on the work of the great Argentine author. As part of the tributes marking 20 years since Borges' death, the publication of Kodama's book offers a re-examination of his work from the perspective of someone who knew him very well. A writer, translator, professor, and president of the Jorge Luis Borges Foundation, María Kodama appeared on the program "Los 7 locos" and spoke about everything: her reluctance to publish, the story of how one of her short stories played a key role in a diplomatic conflict, her legal dispute with the writer Pablo Katchadjian, author of "El Aleph engordado," and more in an in-depth interview with Cristina Mucci. Aired on November 5, 2016, on Argentine Public Television. Full program at: http://www.tvpublica.com.ar   / tvpublica     / tv_publica     / los7locos     / tv_publica
