Baan Nok Thung Homestay is located in Nong Chim Subdistrict, Laem Sing District. It's a newly opened homestay with a spacious area. Traveling from Bangkok takes about 5 hours. Once you arrive, park your car. There's a huge parking lot here, suitable for both cars and tour buses. Upon arrival, let's take a look at the overall atmosphere of the homestay. If you enter from the front, you'll see a large building. This zone is the dining area. We'll eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner here. This zone is decorated simply, highlighted by painted pictures on the walls depicting popular tourist attractions in Chanthaburi Province and the identity of Baan Nok Thung. You can come here to take photos and check in. I can tell you that every picture will be beautiful. Inside the building, it's open on all sides to let in the breeze and air. There are both wooden tables and classic, colorful, oil can tables. There are also a drink vending machine, an all-you-can-eat ice cream machine, and a stage for guests to sing and party in the evening. Once you reach the dining room, let's stop for lunch. Baan Nok Thung Homestay's lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Menu items include stir-fried crab with curry powder, which is served in large portions. Stir-fried to perfection (you can request crab meat with a hammer), crab roe chili paste served with fresh vegetables, not too spicy, perfect for a long time. Pork with star gooseberry, a signature dish of Chanthaburi, features large pieces of pork belly, perfectly stewed, slightly sweet, and paired perfectly with hot steamed rice. Other dishes include fish cakes, seaweed tofu soup, and som tam (a perfect way to show off your skills). After savory dishes, you'll want to have dessert. They also have delicious shaved ice and ice cream for you to scoop yourself. Now it's time for the wet rafting activity. This activity starts at 2:30 PM. The early start is because we'll take a tram to the rafting point, which is about 10 kilometers from the homestay. Before boarding, we'll need to put on life jackets. Then, we're ready to go! It takes about 15-20 minutes to reach the wet rafting point. There are two types of wet rafts: a wet raft with seats on the raft, and a dry raft with elevated seats for enjoying the view and a canopy for sun protection. Today, we'll take you on two different rides, both of which are incredibly relaxing. The raft ride to the hawk-watching point and the oyster fields takes about 50 minutes, and you'll reach the hawk-watching and swimming spots. After a tiring day of swimming, it's time for dinner, which runs from 6:30 PM to midnight. The menu includes spicy fish salad, seafood fried rice, steamed crab, grilled shrimp, boiled shrimp, oysters with herbs, shrimp in fish sauce, tom yum with sea bass, fried sea bass with fish sauce, and fruit.
