甘丹寺，格鲁派第一座寺庙。又名噶丹寺，全称甘丹朗杰林，直译为喜足尊胜洲，建于明永乐七年（1409年）。甘丹寺坐落在拉萨市区东面40余公里的达孜区境内，拉萨河南岸的旺波尔山坳，海拔3800米。依山而建的建筑群，层层叠叠，非常壮观。比起坐落在拉萨城里的布达拉宫，这里远离城市，相对来说比较小众，没什么游客。恰逢藏历十五，许多藏民来到这里，给安静的寺庙增添了许多热闹。 Ganden Monastery, the first temple of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism, also known as Gadan Monastery, is fully named Ganden Namgyeling, literally meaning "The Land of Joy and Victory." It was built in 1409 during the Ming Dynasty. Perched at an altitude of 3,800 meters in the Wangpoer Valley on the south bank of the Lhasa River, the monastery lies over 40 kilometers east of downtown Lhasa within Dazi District. Its tiered structure, built along the mountain slope, creates a spectacular sight. Compared to the Potala Palace in the city center, Ganden Monastery is more remote and less visited, making it a relatively niche destination. During our visit, which coincided with the 15th day of the Tibetan lunar calendar, many Tibetan pilgrims arrived, filling the tranquil monastery with warmth and activity.
