Pabels is known for his unique selections and great energy behind the decks, which have defined his eclectic and soulful approach to DJing. His ‘Day Mix’ series — a genre-blending journey through House, Disco, Balearic, Afrobeat, Soul, and Hip Hop — has earned him hundreds of thousands of plays on platforms like SoundCloud, drawing comparisons to Mark Farina’s Mushroom Jazz and the legendary Café del Mar compilations. A key figure in Argentina’s local scene, he is the creator of two acclaimed event series: Línea Caliente, an underground exploration of Balearic House; and Bonaire, a ‘hedonist assembly’ that has become the most important house and disco party in the country. He’s also the music director of Las Casitas at Lollapalooza BA since 2019, curating performances from the best of the local and regional underground. His growth and recognition have led him to perform at iconic venues and festivals such as Calvi On The Rocks (France), Mareh Festival (Brazil), Gop Tun, Sunday Sunday, Garbicz Festival, Bordeaux Open Air, Output (NYC), Pikes (Ibiza), Le Bain (NYC), Amores Experience (Mexico), Floyd (Miami), Lollapalooza (Buenos Aires), and many more. He has shared the decks with artists like Nightmares On Wax, Sadar Bahar, Folamour, Chez Damier, Sassy J, David Vunk, Kalabrese, DJ Assault, Mendel, and others.
