Pon Pon Chapel of ease / South Carolina's oldest Anglican Ministries Building
Pon Pon Chapel of Ease was first constructed in 1725 as the first Anglican Chapel in South Carolina. It was built along the stagecoach route between Charleston and Savannah. Both President Washington and Reverend John Wesley have been to the Church and Reverend Wesley gave two sermons there in 1737.
