Greig Fraser used this LOW-LIGHT Technique on The Batman!

Hello everyone! My name is Nate Caywood and I am a Los Angeles based cinematographer. And I want to get better at my craft, and in order to do that I am analyzing the work of other people who are far better than I am, in the hopes I can replicate their work when I am on set. I've been prepping for a horror feature I am scheduled to shoot this summer, and I keep coming back to examples of Greig Fraser's work. His consistency of maintaining cinematic linguistics from beginning to the end of each project is astounding. I'm finding his low-light photography of The Batman not only compelling but inspiring. So today I attempted to see if I could figure out how he does it. Check out the video so see what I learned!
