F3L RES Wiki build kit impressions #2 - tail and fuselage of this new RC glider

Build impressions from the new F3L Competition RC glider diy build kit - RES Wiki - from Tomáš Hlavinka. Starting with parts you can or should replace I cover how to build the tail section and the fuselage of this nice 2 meter wooden rc plane. What servos and lipo can you use? Do you need micro servos? Do other servos fit and should do you have to modify anything? Does wood quality shine and can you actually achieve the weights proposed in the build description? All these questions are covered in this video. The quality of the wood is very good. Building the rudder, elevator and the fuselage is quite easy, but requires some experience in wooden airplane kits. It is definitely no kit for starters! Major advice: before closing the fuselage pod check your equipment and how it fits in this very narrow construction. 00:00 Intro 00:46 Parts to replace due to regulations 01:33 Build tips 02:06 Tail section 03:26 Fuselage 04:23 Servos and Battery 07:09 Final suggestions 09:05 Outro Equipment shown in this video Towerpro SG90 Servo: https://amzn.to/3I0RuLb Emax 3352 Servo: https://bit.ly/3uLgqm4 Blue Bird Servo BMS 125WV: https://bit.ly/3gGiIKR Blue Bird Servo A10V: https://bit.ly/3gDIAHl 2S Lipo: https://bit.ly/3JnCvLg RC-Network thread for discussions: https://www.rc-network.de/threads/mei...
