Out of a Scandinavian Defense, Caruana’s queen quickly finds herself in hot water. Leela’s 7th move, Nb5, creates a difficult position, forcing the queen to take on the critical task of defending against a fork on c7. Soon after, Leela initiates kingside pawn advances and introduces a fishing pole idea on the queenside.
