The Prowler, which was rebranded as the Chrysler Prowler in 2001 following the end of the Plymouth brand, has often been criticized for trying to look like a traditional hot rod, but only having a V6 engine instead of a V8, and an automatic transmission. However the original purpose of the Prowler was as an experiment in aluminum construction, with an all-aluminum frame and many body panels made from aluminum. Having a very limited demographic and a high price, only 11,703 were sold, however its end in 2002 was not because of low sales, and I provide the real reason for its end in this episode.
