Transalp Mittenwald - Arco | Über das Penser Joch nach Bozen | Tag 2/4

Hello everyone, In this video, I'm taking you along on an extended autumn bike tour across the Alps. More precisely, Sandra and I cycled from Mittenwald to Arco on Lake Garda. We planned most of our Alpine crossing route ourselves and didn't take the direct route like we did last year when we rode the Via Claudia. We added some extra elevation gain here and there, so the tour really felt like a Transalp crossing and not just a bike trip. This year's Alpine crossing was significantly more strenuous than the Via Claudia the year before, and we didn't escape unscathed. So, stay tuned to see how our Transalp went this year and whether we were able to complete the tour as planned. Our starting point for the second leg was Gries am Brenner. The end of the second day's stage was the small, tranquil town of Bolzano. Therefore, the tour can be rated as S0 for the most part, with occasional S1 sections.
