The Murphy Anderson 1998 Shoot Interview by David Armstrong

David Armstrong interviewed Golden and Silver Age great, Murphy Anderson in 1998 on set at San Diego Comic Con about his entry into comic books in the 1940s, working with Harry Chesler, Jerry Iger and Jack Burne, then in Fiction House with Ruben Moreira, drafted into the army, working on the Buck Rogers comic strip, working at DC Comics, then Ziff-Davis with Jerry Siegel, the science fiction comics of DC with Julius Schwartz, Dan and Sy Barry, bringing back superheroes in the mid 1950s, the Atomic Knights, Mike Sekowsky, first depicting Snapper Carr, covers for DC, his favorite movies, his contract with PS Magazine and if drawing comic books was a meaningful profession.
