MASIH BERFUNGSI DENGAN BAIK PLTA WARISAN BELANDA || PLTA KRACAK, BOGOR

After Bogor became a center for botany, tourism, and plantations, many Dutch people settled here. Besides being close to Batavia, Bogor also offered a peaceful place to rest. Lighting was a challenge at the time. Therefore, the Dutch built several hydroelectric power plants, one of which was the Kracak hydroelectric power plant. The Kracak hydroelectric power plant was built in 1918 and began operating in 1926. The reason for this hydroelectric power plant's construction was the need for electricity to be distributed to the cities of Bogor and Batavia, and the rest to the plantation area. The engines used were still old, and the most interesting thing here was the lorry.
