Russell Brand Found God at a Very Convenient Time

Russell Brand has not disappeared. He has been working harder, making more money, and reaching more people than at almost any other point in his career. He just did it by doing the one thing nobody expected him to do. In September 2023 a joint investigation by Channel 4 and The Sunday Times went public with serious allegations from four separate women. One said she was sixteen years old at the time. The Metropolitan Police opened a formal criminal investigation within weeks. In April 2024 he was formally charged. His trial is scheduled for June 2026. The baptism happened just weeks before those formal charges were filed. A man who spent fifteen years as one of the most aggressively atheist celebrities in Britain suddenly decided that the spring of 2024 was the perfect moment to be received into Christianity in a televised river ceremony. His YouTube channel kept growing. His Rumble channel kept growing. His paid subscription platform became one of the most profitable creator businesses on the platform. He sells out venues on the religious revival circuit. He has reportedly made more money in the last two years than in the previous five. The receipts are right there for anyone who wants to look. Russell Brand did not find God. He found a lifeline. And whatever happens in that courtroom in June, the lifeline is already doing its job. The file is open. #dulynoted
