🔴Is the Nordic model the true "socialism with a human face" or the most efficient and parasitic phase of state monopoly capitalism? In this analysis, I debunk the myth of northern social democracy. Using the tools of political economy critique, I demonstrate why Sweden, Norway, and Denmark are not the social paradise we've been led to believe, much less socialism. The prosperity of the North is financed with the blood, resources, and surplus value extracted from workers in the periphery of imperialism. Through multinationals like H&M, Ericsson, Maersk, and Equinor, the Nordic bourgeoisie sustains a local labor aristocracy in exchange for demobilizing the class struggle.
