Cigar Box Guitar Documentary
Michael Frey starting crafting cigar box guitars and ukuleles in his basement as a hobby. He now both plays and sells these instruments. In the fall of 2011, Grove City College's Documentary Film class joined together to create a documentary portraying the different types of art in the Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania area. Above is the introduction and the interview of Michael Frey who was the last artist featured on the documentary. This is his story. Produced by Lisa C. Seguin. Filmed by Beth Cameron, Tyler Crumrine, Sarah White, and Rick Kribel. Special mention to GCC's Fall 2011 Documentary Film class for crafting the introduction.
