Making Affordable Custom LEGO City Roads

Have you ever looked at my LEGO city and assumed the roads were the classic LEGO road plates? They're not. In this video, I take you behind the scenes and show you exactly how I design and make my custom vinyl roads - from creating the artwork on my computer, to cutting them with my Cricut, right through to how they fit into the city alongside pavements, modular buildings and landscaping. I also talk about: Why I chose vinyl instead of official LEGO road plates The evolution of my road system over the last 10 years The pros and cons of old road plates, the new road system and brick-built (MILS) roads How I solved common problems like curling and connecting pavements Why this system works so well for the way I build my city If you've ever wondered how these roads are made, or you're trying to decide which road system is right for your own LEGO city, I hope this video gives you some inspiration. 💬 I'd love to hear from you in the comments: • Which road system do you use in your LEGO city? • Would you ever consider using custom vinyl roads? • And if these were available to buy one day, would you be interested? 👍 If you enjoyed the video, please leave a like and subscribe for more LEGO city updates, MOCs, behind-the-scenes videos and custom builds.
