In this video, we examine the Renault Boreal, a new player in the C-segment SUV market manufactured in Bursa, in detail, covering all its technical and equipment specifications. In this detailed test conducted by Lake Iznik, we approached the vehicle's features with a completely information-focused and transparent perspective, avoiding exaggerated claims. Looking at the exterior design, the redesigned Renault logo, muscular hood lines, and piano black details are striking. Wheel options, offered in 18-inch or 19-inch sizes depending on the equipment package, and hidden door handles form the main design elements. The Boreal offers ample storage space with its 630-liter capacity, two-part automatic opening tailgate, while providing ample headroom and legroom for rear passengers. The 10-inch digital instrument panel and the 10-inch multimedia screen on the dashboard center the in-car technology experience. Especially thanks to Google integration, controlling features like climate control using voice assistants without needing physical buttons provides ease of driving. The Renault Boreal is offered with two different engine options: a 1.3 TCe turbocharged engine producing 145 horsepower and a 1.8-liter full hybrid engine. In our review, we specifically highlighted the importance of the 1.3-liter engine option being within the limits of the disability discount, both in terms of the market and competition. We conducted a detailed analysis of city fuel consumption data, the responses of different driving modes such as Eco, Comfort, Sport, and Smart, and the vehicle's competition with other models in the C-SUV segment.
