As firefighters we often questioned the possibility of damaging our pressurized cylinder during an internal attack and possibly being launched with our packs attached. From this video you can see that the valve on a 2216 bottle is very strong and will take a lot of punishment. What you are seeing is a 2216 psi steel scba tank inside of a well caseing. We welded a sharpened 1/2 inche steel plate to the bottom of the casing and then pounded away at it with a sledge hammer. Hope you enjoy the video!!!!! P.S.
