Optimización – Maximizar la superficie de una pista de atletismo SELECTIVIDAD EBAU EVAU PAU

Correspondiente a 2º de Bachillerato, en este problema de optimización se pide hallar las dimensiones de una pista de atletismo de 400 metros de perímetro de forma que su superficie sea máxima. La función a optimizar, en un primer paso, queda en función de dos variables (x e y), pero se puede establecer una relación entre ambas de forma que la función finalmente queda en una sola variable (x). Esta relación se establece aplicando conociendo el perímetro de la pista.
