Introduction to Levels of Sexual Crime Theories
Before looking at specific theories of sexual crime, it is important to consider why theories such as these are important, and to conceptualize their structure. According to Ward and Hudson, there are three levels of sexual offending theory: [1] Multifactorial theories that integrate different constructs from a range of areas of psychology [2] Single construct theories that look at individual ideas in depth [3] Micro level processes that look at how each individual commits a sexual offense
