Can Vintage Japanese Guitars Capture the Gibson Feel?

A 1980 Greco EG-800GS Goldtop with clear Gibson 1956 Les Paul DNA, a 1978 Greco SA-900 semi-hollow (Gibson ES-335 style) and a 1977 Greco SA-550 hollowbody (Gibson ES-330 style). Different body styles, different pickups and different responses — but all three have the kind of tone, playability and vintage character that make them stand out to me. Each one seems to invite a slightly different way of playing.
