📹 A memory of faith, longing, and gratitude! This special record was made in March 1999, during the traditional festivities of Saint Joseph, in the community of Candeal, municipality of Cônego Marinho (MG). In it, we witness the celebration of a blessed Holy Mass in honor of Saint Joseph, patron saint of that beloved community. The moment becomes even more moving because it was presided over by the unforgettable Father Alfonso Müer, a German missionary who dedicated a large part of his life to the people of Januária and the entire northern region of Minas Gerais. Known as the "Father of the Poor" and founder of the Holy Family Parish, Father Alfonso left a legacy of love for his neighbor, simplicity, faith, and pastoral dedication that remains alive to this day. Although he departed for the House of the Father in 2001, his memory continues to be honored by all those who had the grace to know him. Besides the beloved Father Alfonso, this video also records the faces and remarkable figures of the community who have passed away, but who remain alive in our memories and in our hearts.
