Carnavalsoptocht 2026 Ter Apel

On Saturday, February 14th, the carnival parade in Ter Apel was held for the 61st time. After the opening ceremony by Mayor Jaap Velema and Prince Harry III, the colorful procession set off from Havenstraat around 1:30 PM. No fewer than 64 floats and 56 walking groups slowly made their way toward the center of Ter Apel. Although it was chilly, thanks to the radiant and sunny weather, the streets along the route from Havenstraat to Dr. Mansholtpark were packed with revelers.
