Polymer Clay Dragon Tutorial | Easy Polymer Clay Tutorial

Hi everyone! Today I’ll be making a tutorial for an easy polymer clay dragon. This dragon is made from light and dark purple clay, as well as a base of aluminum foil. Easy Clay Dragon Notes: The wings were bakes at 230 degrees F for 10 minutes just so the wings would keep their shape and be easier to add to the body later. I used a base of aluminum foil for the body to save on clay and make the dragon lighter in the end. Remember when attaching clay to aluminum foil to use liquid clay to glue them together. The dragon body with the wings added were baked for another 20 minutes at the same temperature. The type of clay used in this video is Sculpey and Fimo. I use what’s available as most brands are similar to each other. Always follow your clay’s baking instructions on the package when making clay creations. Leave to cool before handling them as they are still soft and handling them may leave dents. Tip: When shaping the clay, if you find that you are leaving a lot of fingerprints, you can use a q-tip and rubbing alcohol to wipe the surface of the clay clean.
