Taoiseach Micheál Martin addresses MEPs during the European Parliament's July plenary session in Strasbourg, setting out the programme and priorities of the Irish Presidency. From July to December 2026, Ireland will hold the Presidency of the Council of the European Union – a central leadership role in the decision making process of the EU.
