Mutah, also known as "marriage of pleasure," is a temporary marriage contract that's prohibited in Sunni Islam. It's a fixed-term marriage, usually for a specific period, and is considered invalid and sinful. Mutah is not recognized as a valid marriage contract in Sunni Islam, as it's seen as a way to legitimize temporary relationships for pleasure Misyar, on the other hand, is a type of marriage contract that allows couples to renounce some marital rights, such as living together or financial support. It's a valid marriage contract, but it's not without controversy. Some scholars argue that Misyar marriages can be used as a cover for temporary or illicit relationships. However, others see it as a way for couples to negotiate their own terms and conditions within the framework of Islamic law. It's worth noting that Misyar marriages are not without conditions. The couple must still fulfill the basic requirements of a valid Islamic marriage, including the presence of witnesses, the consent of the bride and groom, and the payment of a dowry.
