NAA LAP - A Sayawa Cultural Dance from Tafawa Balewa & Bogoro LGAs in Bauchi State, Nigeria
Naa lap is one of the major dances in the Sayawa (Zaar or Saghn) Tribe. The people dance Naa lap during festivals and other occasions. Women and Men are usually involved. It can be considered as a dance that depicts demonstrating love and affection. Each dance partner displays skills as he/she selects who to dance with for every moment. It is usually very orderly and melodious. The Sayawa people are predominantly from Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro Local Government of Bauchi State, Nigeria.
