Built in 1687, it is one of the earliest examples of Palladian architecture in the region, constructed using Wilmcote stone and ashlar dressings. The Hall was originally owned by the Carrington family, known Catholic recusants, and is believed to have served as a center for Catholic worship during times of religious suppression . In the mid-20th century, Wootton Hall fell into disrepair and faced potential demolition. However, in 1958, it was purchased by Bill Allen of Allen's Caravans, who restored the building and developed the surrounding grounds into a residential park, thereby preserving the Hall and revitalizing the local community . An interesting feature of the estate is its former chapel, located on Stratford Road, which has been designated as a Grade II* listed building due to its architectural and historical significance . The bowls club is active in the local community, hosting events such as quiz nights at the nearby Wootton Wawen Social Club.
