This is part 1 of the first day of my 4th Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage, the milestone walking pilgrimage. I finally started my long-awaited walking pilgrimage from May 1st to May 5th, 2024, right in the middle of Golden Week. This video starts from the hotel in front of Tokushima Station, where I stayed the night before, and goes to Temple 2, Gokurakuji. I took the Kotoku Line and arrived at Bando Station, the nearest station to Temple 1. The walking pilgrimage has finally begun! I was debating whether to compile the videos into one day, but since I try to show the car pilgrimage as uncut as possible, I decided to do the same for the walking pilgrimage. I have cut out some of the images because they are tilted, or because they were completely white from being put in and taken out of the San'ya bag, or because they were completely dark. I hope you enjoy the feeling of walking with Daishi, Aloaloha, and my three companions. As usual, the 4th walking pilgrimage is an unusual journey. Since the pilgrimage is split into small segments, it's unclear when it will end...
