wood turning a copper leaf chalice
This is a chalice making video...i know i keep calling it a goblet in the video but at the end i feel its worthy of the name chalice . I'm using a cherry log to turn this project and as you will see in the early stages i get a nasty catch and cut a big chunk out of it.....i did say in my last video's discription that i'm not an expert turner. I'm very pleased how the spiral stem turned out...its my first time carving one! And the copper leaf goes on ok...its always a bit messy for me that is.
