Apo Island had been on my list for a long time, and it didn't disappoint. In this video, I take a day trip from Negros Oriental across to Apo Island, one of the Philippines' most famous marine sanctuaries. From the boat ride across the ocean, to walking through the local village, snorkeling with sea turtles, an unexpected encounter with a sea snake, and some spectacular drone footage from above, this was one of those days that reminds you why travel is worth it. No luxury resorts. No tourist gimmicks. Just crystal-clear water, incredible marine life, friendly locals, and a chance to slow down for a while.
