In today's video, we take a close look at some of the groceries, pantry staples, snacks, coffee pods, canned goods, and everyday foods that many of us buy regularly. We headed to Dollar General with one goal in mind: to see if we could save money and stretch our grocery budget a little further. As many of you know, I'm always looking for ways to live frugally, save money on groceries, and make the most of every dollar. At 92 years old, I've learned that being thrifty doesn't mean going without—it means shopping smart and finding the best value for your money. Together, Lucas and I compare Dollar General prices to Walmart prices on everything from bologna, shredded cheese, coffee pods, Fig Newton bars, applesauce, pasta, canned chicken, tomato soup, mixed nuts, Jiffy corn muffin mix, cinnamon, and more. Some of the results surprised us! A few items were bargains, while others cost quite a bit more than we expected.
