Dangerous Crossing (1953) is an American mystery-thriller film directed by Joseph M. Newman and starring Jeanne Crain and Michael Rennie. The film was released by 20th Century Fox in 1953 and is based on the popular radio play Cabin B-13 by John Dickson Carr. The story follows Ruth Stanton Bowman, a wealthy young woman who boards an ocean liner for her honeymoon with her new husband, John. Shortly after the voyage begins, her husband mysteriously disappears. Even more disturbing, nobody on the ship remembers seeing him, and official records suggest that Ruth boarded the ship alone. As she desperately tries to prove that her husband exists, the crew and passengers begin to question her sanity. Only Dr. Paul Manning believes her story and helps uncover the truth behind the strange disappearance.
