#AmaniLiaquat #Glioblastoma #Legacy #Duas4Amani *UPDATE* Amani sadly passed on 21/02/22 after a 22month battle with Glioblastoma brain cancer at just 23yrs old. Tom Parker passed just 6weeks later. On 27th April 2021, Tom Parker came to visit Amani to film for his documentary 'Tom Parker: Inside My Head''. Unfortunately these scenes did not make the final cut due to timing constraints. But Channel 4 were kind enough to send us the footage so that we could share it separately. As part of filming, Amani interviewed Tom Parker for Episode 9 of her Chat2Amani podcasts. It was a lovely day spent mostly laughing and joking despite the fact that they were meeting because they both belong to a club noone wants to be a part of. Tom Parker was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme Grade 4 in October 2020. Amani was diagnosed with the same disease in May 2020 and due to her mutation was given a chilling prognosis of 12-18months. But Amani isnt going down without a fight.
