Märklin-H0-Modelleisenbahn mit 7 Schattenbahnhöfen, Zuglift, Lokmuseum @ MECOB e.V. im Schwarzwald

In my last video from my visit to the Model Railway Club Oberes Bregtal e.V. (MECOB) in the Black Forest, I show some trains in operation on their approximately 6 x 3 meter H0 layout (scale 1 to 87) with Märklin K tracks. First, however, the first part of the video shows the impressive H0 locomotive parade exhibition area with three long, open-plan corner-rack staging or fiddle yards and display tracks (Märklin M tracks) accessible directly via turnouts, for no fewer than 180 locomotives. These are connected to three other H0 fiddle yards via a 180 cm long locomotive lift. In two of these fiddle yards, up to 35 carriage sets are each available on track harps. From the lowest fiddle yard, a double-track tunnel leads to the large H0 layout with a gigantic O-shaped track spiral, which leads into a very large fiddle yard beneath the actual display layout. The MECOB layout is located at the Friedrichschule in Furtwangen and can usually be visited on Wednesday club evenings (see website contact information below).
