The stage play "Hwarang" will open in Tokyo and Osaka on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. This video features an excerpt from the first 15 minutes of the public dress rehearsal. Based on the hit Korean drama "Hwarang," which first aired in 2016 and captivated audiences worldwide, this tale of friendship, love, and growth among the Hwarang, a group of handsome, elite men who protect the king of Silla during a turbulent era, is directed by Yoon Sung-sik, renowned for his work on "The King's Face" and "Babel: The Spiral of Love and Revenge." The production has garnered attention for its miraculous collaboration of stars from various fields, including Park Seo-joon (Sun-woo/Moo-myung), who has appeared in "Itaewon Class" and "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?", Park Hyung-sik (Ji-di/King Jinwon/Sammaekjeong), who has appeared in "Dr. Slump," SHINee's Minho (Suho), and BTS's V (Hansung).
