Picking Out New SERVICE DOG GEAR // How I'm choosing between dog gear options

When you're picking out new service dog gear, you'd think it would be pretty simple, right? But there are so many options to consider... from dog gear design options (there's FUN service dog gear!), to service dog vest shapes and harness shapes, to legal requirements for service dog vests! This video is me talking through SOME options for designing dog gear. I'm currently in the process of choosing my next service dog vest, and I know that a lot of you are interested in learning more about how I'm choosing service dog gear, how I'm designing service dog gear, and how I'm choosing between dog gear options in general. So, in this video, I wanted to talk about the pros and cons of the gear I have already, service dog gear pros and cons in general, and an overview of the options for service dog gear. From there, I went into specifics like vest shapes (including straight front vs y front vests), service dog harness types and shapes (there are many service dog harness options as well), and what to say on service dog's outfits. Designing a new service dog vest takes a lot of thought, as you can probably tell! So I also did some research to learn what other service dog handlers put on theirs, and how to tell non service dog handlers not to pet a working service dog.
