I Dug Up a 9000 year old Ancient Fire Pit & Found THESE...

Welcome back to the dig site! In this extra-long, 50-minute episode, we spend several days excavating an Early to Middle Archaic Native American village site, and the historical discoveries are absolutely incredible. What We Discovered This Week: Ancient Campfire: We uncovered a massive charcoal pit, revealing the center of an ancient hub of daily activity. Rare Blades: A stunning pink, heat-treated Archaic blade (potentially 5,000 to 9,000 years old) and a beautiful dark flint Archaic blade. Projectile Points: Two broken MacCorkle points with bifurcated bases, and a unique broken stemmed point. Stone Tools: Multiple pitted stones, a hammerstone, and some fascinating slate pieces. Hazards of the Trade: We even had to battle an aggressive yellow jacket nest that ambushed us during the excavation!
