VE3ONT Moon Bounce 1990s Presentation Sept 2020 - by Peter VE7PS for Front Range 6 Meter Group

This is a presentation by Peter VE7PS of the unique Ham Radio EME project by the team of hams from VE3ONT in the mid 1990's. It takes place at the Algonquin Radio Observatory (ARO) which is situated deep in Ontario's Algonquin Provincial Park, away from man-made interference. The site contains a collection of instruments designed for research in several phases of radio astronomy, including a giant 46 m dish, built in 1966, to study radio sources far out in space. The team at VE3ONT had the opportunity to use this 46 meter dish for VHF and UHF contesting during brief periods over several years and this is their story.
