We found ANOTHER Underground NIGHTCLUB in Birmingham EXCLUSIVE

Oceana also known as The Ocean is a chain of nightclubs in the United Kingdom owned and managed by Deltic Group. There is now only one remaining nightclub, in Southampton.[1] There were also venues in Plymouth, Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff, Kingston, Watford, Leeds and Nottingham however these have been converted to Pryzm nightclubs, another Deltic chain.[2][3] There were also venues in Milton Keynes, Birmingham and Swansea, however they have since closed.[4][5] The Swansea branch closed its doors for the last time in the early hours of 31 May 2014. A landmark building in Birmingham city centre is set to be granted immunity from listing - paving the way for part of it to be demolished and replaced with a 22-storey apartment block. Historic England has recommended to the Government that the Ringway Centre, in Smallbrook Queensway, be granted a Certificate of Immunity (CoI) from Listing which, if granted, will prevent anyone applying for it to be listed for five years. A decision is expected from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) after August 8 following a 28-day consultation period in response to Historic England's recommendation. Listed status grants an extra level of protection to a building, meaning increased scrutiny and permission are required from local councils before modifications or demolition can take place. It does not however mean that a listed building can never be demolished.
