BELL UH-1D - SAR Retro Classic 1993 | 3 x take-off | + German Police BO-105 on patrol

My first encounter with helicopters was at the age 2 or 3. A German Army (Bundeswehr) Bell UH-1D landed in-front of our house. Since that day I have been mad about helicopters. As a teenie I immediately ran out of the house whenever one of those Hueys visited our neighbourhood. Guess what I did when I got my first video 8 camera in 1993... This clip is a compliation of my early filming attempts, which I recently found in an old box and digitalized. Although the picture quality is just so-so, I am amazed by how good the sound quality actually was at that time. Not sure what you think but to me the starting engine of a helicopter is music to my ears!
