No Child Left Behind Ruined Education Because Not All Students Can Perform at High Levels! For more than 25 years, Mr. B worked as a classroom teacher, literacy coach, instructional coach, and district leader. Like many educators, he entered the profession because he wanted to make a difference in children's lives. But over time, he watched education become increasingly driven by standardized testing, data, and accountability measures that he believes were based on flawed assumptions. In this interview, we take a deep dive into No Child Left Behind, standardized testing, teacher evaluations, Common Core, and the policies that transformed American classrooms.
