Here is my attempt at Magic Sam's, Looking Good, from his performance in Germany in 1966, where he is playing Earl Hooker's cheap Univox Les Paul copy. It's one of my favorite guitar sounds ever captured on tape. I have no idea what he is playing through, maybe a Marshall Plexi? I'm sure he just plugged into whatever backline was at the gig.
