Thousands of women and children have been forced to leave the country due to the war in Ukraine. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees announced yesterday that more than 1.5 million refugees have crossed from Ukraine to neighboring countries since February 24. One of the countries where people in Ukraine seek refuge is Turkey. Many of those who come to Turkey go to their acquaintances, while some are hosted in Edirne and Kırklareli. The group of 204 people, 120 of whom are children, who were brought to Turkey in the previous days after crossing the Dereköy Border Gate are being cared for in the best way possible in the dormitory of the Credit and Hostels Institution in Kırklareli.
